Golden Filter shoot for Filler Magazine.
A story I shot for Filler magazine ( Fillermagazine.com ) of recording artists “Golden Filter”. I was excited about shooting this one because I got to experiment with
quality of light and contrast in a way that I hadn’t before. It was sort
of a new aesthetic for me and I’m really happy with the outcome. Hope

I by no means am a pro editor but I was so stoked on the raw footage that I wanted to play around with a bit of it. The final product is way down the road and involves editors. Illustrators and effects! Cant wait!

Retouching images of Amanda Lepore is almost as surreal an experience and chilling out with Amanda herself… The woman exists in a dimension where the laws of space, time and physics don’t really apply. Retouching must be done accordingly.

7.17.10 Avenue B btn 8th and 9th sts. at 2:55 am. I spent minutes watching them before I recorded this moment. I admit, I was conflicted morally as to whether or not I should actually photograph them. They looked so peaceful.
